Week 4 Summary - Unit 6

Last week’s Language lessons have looked at script writing and script reading - our final assemblies have been our focus.

In Maths, we have focused on line graphs. With accurate drawing and then answering questions based on the graphs.

Unit has been exciting this past week, with students looking at a variety of cultures features from below and above the culture iceberg(see last week's post).

Week 2 - Unit 6

This week saw PYP 7 students collect and organise data from families about marriages. Thank you to all the families who allowed us insight into your marriage! We used our Unit of Inquiry lessons to organise and present data in a variety of ways. We also allowed students to reflect and consider issues within culture that interest them - allowing students to guide this Unit in any direction they wish.

In Language lessons, we are looking at features of (auto)biographies, with an aim to write our own. Our current reading focus is inference - you can support a PYP 7 student by asking them to consider information they have inferred from texts!
