Final week of Unit 1
Unit 1 was wrapped up last week and PYP7 was a flurry of
activity.
In Language lessons, we have been creating our own creation
stories and these have now been published, ready for some to revealed to the
public on the Peraltas trip!
In Maths, lessons have been focused on finding area and
perimeter of shapes.
Our PYP7 countries have been challenged with a series of
events last week! First an earthquake shook the region, causing our governments
to meet for emergency summits. This was followed by a refugee crisis, only to
then have a disaster fall upon our countries’ leaders. What a week! These
events tested the cooperation of all students and required a clear vision of
power and hierarchy.
